How the Online Inquiry Center (OIC) works
The Online Inquiry Center (OIC) is a digital platform operating under the State Commission on Prisoners of War, Hostages and Missing Persons of the Republic of Azerbaijan and is intended for receiving requests, processing information and providing data on cases of missing persons.
The OIC ensures interaction between applicants and competent state authorities in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

Report a Missing Person
This section is intended for submitting initial information about a missing person, including data on relatives and circumstances of disappearance.
Processing and possible sharing of personal data are carried out based on the consent of the applicant and in accordance with applicable data protection legislation.
The information provided is used solely for the purposes of search, clarification of fate and identification of missing persons.
Missing Persons Inquiry
This section provides access to information on the status of a case.
Where biological reference samples have been provided, DNA profiles of relatives are compared with DNA profiles obtained from human remains.
Additional samples from close relatives may be required to increase the likelihood of identification.
Information on the need for additional samples may be displayed in the system.
In case of a DNA match, the relevant report is transmitted to the competent state authority for further procedures.
DNA matching is considered part of a comprehensive identification process.
Indicate a location
This section allows submission of information regarding possible locations of human remains.
Information may be provided with contact details or anonymously and is transmitted to competent state authorities for verification and further action.
MyFace
This section enables the publication of images of missing persons in order to enhance search efforts.
Users may submit information on possible whereabouts.
Such information is accessible only to authorized state authorities.
Secure Mailbox
This section is intended for secure document exchange between the applicant and competent authorities.
Access is granted after registration and account verification.
Data transmission is carried out through secure channels in accordance with information security requirements.
